Chris Wondolowski (57') and Ike Opara (72') tallied goals as the San Jose Earthquakes earned their second straight Major League Soccer win of the 2010 season in a 2-0 shutout of the New England Revolution at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.
The Earthquakes are now 2-1-0 with six points and are fourth in the Western Conference standings. San Jose will look for a three-game winning streak next Saturday at Chivas USA.
New England evens their record to 2-2-0 with six and are tied for second with the Kansas City Wizards (2-1-0) in the Eastern Conference standings. They will be at the Columbus Crew this Saturday.
