The Carolina RailHawks of the USSF Division II Pro League announced former goalkeeper Nenad "Ziggy" Zigante will join the franchise as a goalkeeper coach, serving on head coach Martin Rennie's staff.
Zigante, born in Croatia, played the position professionally in the US, Austria, England and the former Yugoslavia and was a consultant to both the US and Croatian men's teams.
He also served as an assistant coach in Major League Soccer for the defunct San Jose Clash and for the men's and women's soccer programs at Cornell University.
Zigante has been the national director of SoccerPlus Goalkeeping Camps for over 20 years and is the goalkeeper academy director for Apex Soccer.
