United Soccer Leagues and officials of the Puerto Rico Soccer League reached a memorandum of understanding Friday to explore the future creation of a Caribbean Division within USL.
The division would combine four current, but yet undecided, members of the PRSL and Caribbean members of CONCACAF, the governing body for soccer in North America.
Several PRSL teams could also join current USL leagues and men's youth teams could be entered into the USL Super Y-League playoffs this fall.
