Spain Stays On Top In Newest FIFA World Rankings

Spain retains the top spot in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings released Wednesday with Brazil, the Netherlands and Italy standing firm after them.

Germany (fifth) and Portugal (sixth) flipped spots from the last poll, France was unchanged at seventh, England (eighth) and Argentina (ninth) swapped places, and Greece joined the top 10 list for the first time since 2008.

The US Men's National Team, despite a 2-1 win over El Salvador in Tampa February 24, fell four spots from 14th to 18th and is no longer the highest-ranked CONCACAF member. That honor now falls to Mexico, ranked 13th.

The next poll will be released March 31.
