Revolution Derails Carolina In Cary

Zach Schilawski snapped a tie with a game-winning goal in the 87th minute, two minutes after Mark Schulte set it up, as Major League Soccer's New England Revolution defeated the Carolina RailHawks of the USSF Division 2 Pro League 2-1 Saturday at WakeMed Sports Park in Cary, NC.

For the second year in a row in preseason play, Schulte scored the only goal against the Revolution.

Pat Phelan gave New England the lead in the 41st minute when he headed a corner kick by Mike Mansally.

The Revolution next face the North Carolina men's team Friday at Southern Pines, then host the USSF-D2's Montreal Impact at WakeMed next Saturday.
