Red Bulls Sign Two Former Toronto FC Players

Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls announced they have signed two former Toronto FC players to deals, according to the website SoccerByIves.net.

First, the Red Bulls signed former starting goalkeeper Greg Sutton, who lost his starting job last season to rookie Stefan Frei.

Second, New York obtained the rights to released Toronto midfielder Carl Robinson in return for Toronto receiving a fourth round pick in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft.

The trade happened only after TFC reached an agreement with Robinson to buy out his contract. Robinson will cost NYRB only $125,000 toward their 2010 season salary cap.
