Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls announced the signing of three selections from the 2010 MLS SuperDraft Wednesday.
Defender Tim Ream, the 18th overall selection from St. Louis University, was the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year for 2009 with a career-high six goals and five assists. He also assisted on a goal in last week's 3-1 win to christen Red Bull Arena, their new stadium in Harrison, NJ.
Forward Conor Chinn, the 34th overall selection from the University of San Francisco, was a 2009 All-West Coast Conferece selection after tallying 10 goals and three assists.
He also was the 2008 conference's Player of the Year with 17 goals.
In four preseason games, Chinn has scored four times.
Midfielder Irving Garcia, the 50th overall pick of St. Louis University, led the Billikens to two straight Big West Conference titles and led the league in points and assists in the 2009 season. He was also a conference Player of the Year.
