Platter Signs To Defend Goal For RailHawks

The Carolina RailHawks of the USSF Division II Pro League announced the signing Monday of goalkeeper Nic Platter, who played in 83 games over five seasons in the United Soccer Leagues First Division with the defunct Minnesota Thunder, posted 18 shutouts and had a 1.36 goals against average.

In 2009, he was second in USL1 among goalkeepers in minutes played (2,520), was third in the league in saves (115) and had six shutouts.
