Pali Adds Two Danish National Team Midfielders

The two-time defending United Soccer Leagues W-League champion Pali Blues announced the signing Monday of two midfielders from the Danish Women's National Team -- Cathrine Paaske-Sorenson and Julie Rydahl Bukh.

Both are currently playing in their country's Premier League with Fortuna Hjorring and will join the Blues in early June.

The duo led Sydney FC to a championship this season in Australia's A-League and played plast season for Linkoping in Sweden's Damallsvenskan.

Paaske-Sorensen, a two-time Danish Women's Player of the Year, began her professional career in 1996 with Denmark's B 1921. She earned his first cap with her country's national team in 2000 and received her 100th cap in August 2009.

Rydahl Bukh, who has 50 caps since 2001 with the Danish women's team, led Brondby IF to six straight Danish league championships after joining them in 2001 from Viborg FF in the Premier League, where she started in 1999.
