The Charlotte Lady Eagles of the United Soccer Leagues W-League announced the re-signing of defender Shelley Lyle and goalkeeper Alyssa Whitehead Monday.
Lyle is a graduate of the University of Florida.
Whitehead led the nation in goals against average (0.31) and was third in the nation in save percentage (0.91%) at Samford University. She faced 169 shots last season and allowed six goals.
