Hyde Names Fire's Goalkeeper Coach

Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire hired Aron Hyde Monday as their new goalkeeper coach, according to the Chicago Daily Herald.

He previously served as the assistant coach of the University of Washington Huskies men's soccer team and the goalkeeper director for the Evergreen Soccer Club.

Before those duties, he was the head men's and women's soccer coach at Seattle University and worked with the Region IV Olympic Development Program and the Washington state ODP.

Hyde played as a goalkeeper in th English Premier League with Fulham, Walsall FC, Millwall FC and the Wycomb Wanderers.

  1. You want a KILLER keeper - it's Mark Murphy. I saw him come back from knee surgery in 3 month!!!!!!!!!!!! Even his orthopeadic surgeon couldn't believe it and he was better than ever becasue he worked out harder and longer than ever. You want a dedicated keeper who can take anything handed to him - this is the kid - I coached him and NOTHING got him down.
