US Men's National Team midfielder Stuart Holden, formerly of Major League Soccer's Houston Dynamo, limped off the field Wednesday in their 2-1 loss to the Netherlands with a bruised shin after taking a hard tackle from Nigel de Jung in the 32nd minute of the game.
He would be replaced two minutes later by DeMarcus Beasley, who made his first appearance for the USMNT since the CONCACAF Gold Cup in June 2009 and assisted Carlos Bocanegra on the team's only goal of the game.
