Fire Sign Two 2010 Draft Picks, Cut The Third

Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire signed two defenders selected in the 2010 SuperDraft Monday -- 26th overall pick Kwame Watson-Siriboe and 45th overall pick Steven Kinney -- but released 29th overall pick and defender Drew Yates.

Watson-Siriboe was the 2009 Big East Conference Co-Defender of the Year and a First Team All-Conference selection after playing in all 19 games he started at the University of Connecticut, where he spent the last four seasons.

He was also a member of the 2004 US U-18 Men's Team that traveled to Argentina.

Kinney becomes the first graduate of Elon University to play in MLS.

A three-time All-Southern Conference First Team selection, he played in 78 career games.
