To get at the league-mandated deadline of Wednesday to be at 24 players on the roster, Major League Soccer's Chivas USA waived defender Carey Talley and goalkeeper Jon Conway.
Talley started 42 of 43 appearances for the team since 2008.
Conway, who joined the team September 11, 2009 after having stints with the New York Red Bulls and the San Jose Earthquakes.
The only game Conway played in was the exhibition ChivaClasico game 12 days after joining the Wizards against Chivas de Guadalajara, their Mexican parent club.
