Cabral Fires Off Hat Trick As Blast Beat Kixx 12-8

Denison Cabral fired off a hat trick in a 2:29 span of the first quarter as the Baltimore Blast defeated the Philadelphia Kixx 12-8 in Major Indoor Soccer League play Friday from Baltimore's First Mariner Arena and extended their current winning streak to four games.

Lucio Gonzaga, Guiliano Celenza and Max Ferdinand also scored for the host Blast, who, at 9-7, are tied for second place in the league standings with La Raza de Monterrey, Baltimore's opponent Saturday night at home.

Pat Morris, player/head coach Don D'Ambra, Aduato Neto and Mike Lookingland had two-point goals for the Kixx, who are statistically in last place at 5-9, four games behind the league-leading Milwaukee Wave (10-6), slightly behind the Rockford Rampage at 6-10.
