The defending Women's Professional Soccer regular season champion Los Angeles Sol added the duties of interim head coach to those of general manager Charlie Naimo Wednesday.
The team is currently under league control while their previous owner, Anschutz Entertainment Group, completes a transition to a new ownership group, who vows to keep the team in Los Angeles and playing home games at The Home Depot Center in nearby Carson, CA.
Former head coach Abner Rogers chose not to stay with the team during the process.
The Sol also announced the signings of three international players to their roster -- Denmark defenders Julie Rydahl Bukh and Cathrine Paaske-Sorenson, and Czech Republic forward/midfielder Paulina Scasna, who becomes the first Eastern European player in WPS history.
Scasna previously played in the Women's United Soccer Association for the Philadelphia Charge.
