Glenn Volk and Nick Judah each scored four goals to lead the expansion Louisville Lightning to a 15-6 rout of the Detroit Waza in Professional Arena Soccer League play Friday at the Mockingbird Valley Soccer Club in Louisville, KY.
The Lightning improved to 7-4 on the season and are in second place in the league's Eastern Division, one game behind the 1790 Cincinnati Express, who Louisville faces February 12 at the Game Time Training Center in Fairfield, KY.
Louisville first hosts another PASL expansion team, the Ohio Vortex, February 5 before meeting the Waza again the next night at Total Soccer in Royal Oak, MI.
Detroit (5-6) will hit the road Saturday to take on provisional member West Virginia Quantum Force of the amateur Premier Arena Soccer League.
