Women's Professional Soccer announced the ballots for three of the league's inaugural postseason awards to be voted on by fans -- the Michelle Akers Player of the Year, the MedImmune Defender of the Year and the Goalkeeper of the Year.
Fans can select their favorite players at www.womensprosoccer.com beginning Tuesday through 5 p.m. Eastern time August 21 with the winners to be announced at the WPS All-Star Gala August 29 in St. Louis.
Other awards to be announced that night are the PUMA Golden Boot (leading scorer), AdvoCare WPS Coach of the Year Award, and the Hint Water Sportswoman of the Year.
