The Charlotte Eagles of the United Soccer Leagues Second Division announced the retirements of Dustin Swinehart and Ben Johnson Monday at the end of the 2009 season.
The Eagles are 7-5-7 with 28 points and are in fourth place in the league standings entering their final regular season game Saturday at Charlotte Christian High School against the Western Mass Pioneers.
The top five teams at the end of the regular season advance to the playoffs.
