Warren Ukah had an unassisted goal in the 16th minute, then assisted Nano Short on a 48th minute score as the host Rochester Rhinos played the Minnesota Thunder to a 3-3 draw Wednesday in United Soccer Leagues First Division play at Marina Auto Stadium.
Andrew Gregor scored in the 37th minute off Ryan Heins as the Rhinos are in fifth place in the league standings at 9-8-6 with 33 points. They will next host the Carolina RailHawks this Saturday.
For Minnesota, in ninth place at 4-10-08 with 20 points, Lawrence Olum fired the first shot in the sixth minute, thanks to a Rod Dyachenko assist, then watched as Rich Constanzo's unassisted play took place in the 42nd minute for a 2-1 Thunder halftime lead.
Ricardo Sanchez teamed with Jeremiah Bass on the Thunder's final goal in the 90th minute to give each team a point in the standings.
The Thunder take on the last place Cleveland City Stars Saturday at Middlefield Cheese Stadium in Bedford, OH.
