Robbie Findley had two goals while Fabian Espindola joined Kyle Beckerman in assisting Pablo Campos on a game-winning 43rd minute goal, then had an unassisted goal in the 75th minute as host Real Salt Lake shut out Chivas USA, 4-0, Wednesday in Major League Soccer play from Sandy, UT's Rio Tinto Stadium.
RSL is now 8-9-6 with 30 points and are tied with the Colorado Rapids (8-7-6) for fifth place in the Western Conference standings. They will next travel to the Kansas City Wizards Saturday.
Chivas is at 10-8-3 with 33 points and tied for third with the Seattle Sounders (8-6-9), two points behind the Los Angeles Galaxy (8-4-11), who Chivas plays Saturday at their shared home of The Home Depot Center, for second place in the Western standings, and seven behind the Houston Dynamo (11-6-7) for first place.
