RailHawks Roll Over Aztex

Joseph Kabwe, Sallieu Bundu and Andriy Budnyy had goals as the host Carolina RailHawks shut out the Austin Aztex, 3-0, Saturday in United Soccer Leagues First Division play at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC.

The RailHawks (11-5-3, 36) are tied with the Portland Timbers (9-1-9), who earlier played to a 1-1 draw at the Minnesota Thunder, for second place in the league and are two points behind the Charleston Battery (10-3-8, 38) for the league lead. Carolina travels to the Rochester Rhinos Wednesday before returning home next Saturday to face the hapless Cleveland City Stars.

Austin, meanwhile, is 3-11-7 with 14 points and in tenth place, and have little chance of making the playoffs, even if they run the table on the schedule. The Aztex are at the Rhinos next Saturday.
