New Home In The Works For Crystal Palace Baltimore

The former site of a Wal-Mart and a Sam's Club in Port Covington, a commercial site in Baltimore, is one of seven reportedly being considered for construction of a $20 million, 5,000-to-7,000-seat soccer stadium for Crystal Palace Baltimore of United Soccer Leagues' Second Division, according to an article in the Baltimore Business Journal Monday.

The city and representatives of Kodiak Properties, who owns Port Covington, confirmed the site is on the list for the stadium, which could also put the city in the running to hold future World Cup qualifying games.
