Kyle Brown assisted Eddie Johnson on his game-winning 24th minute shot as the host Austin Aztex slipped past the Miami FC Blues, 1-0, in United Soccer Leagues First Division at Nelson Field on the campus of Reagan High School in Austin, TX Saturday.
Austin is 4-13-8 with 18 points and in tenth place in the league standings. They were penalized two standings points earlier this season for using an ineligible player. The Aztex travel to the Vancouver Whitecaps Wednesday before getting a rematch at Miami on Labor Day.
Miami is 7-14-4 with 25 points and in eighth place.
