Gbeke Named USL1 Player Of The Week

Forward Charles Gbeke of the defending league champion Vancouver Whitecaps was named the United Soccer Leagues First Division Player of the Week Tuesday after scoring a combined three goals in a win and a draw this past weekend.

Gbeke is in fourth place in the league in goals scored with eight, three behind Portland Timbers forward Mandjou Keita, also named to the Team of the Week, with 11.
