Ben Page, Dustin Swinehart and Amaury Nunes scored goals and Diego Martins had two assists as the Charlotte Eagles defeated the host Pittsburgh Riverhounds, 3-1, in United Soccer Leagues Second Division play Saturday at Chartiers Valley High School.
The Eagles are in fourth place in the standings at 7-5-7 with 28 points and host the Western Mass Pioneers in the season finale next Saturday.
Justin Hughes scored for Pittsburgh in the first minute of the contest but the Riverhounds fell to 5-10-4 with 19 points and in eighth place. They will host Crystal Palace Baltimore next Saturday
