Dube Scores First Hat Trick For Revs Since 2005 In Win

Kheli Dube had his first career hat trick and the first hat trick for the New England Revolution in nearly four Major League Soccer seasons in a 3-1 victory over Real Salt Lake Sunday at Gillette Stadium.

Taylor Twellman scored New England's last triple play September 10, 2005 in a 3-1 win over the Columbus Crew.

New England's Darrius Barnes provided RSL's only goal on an own goal in the 85th minute.

The Revolution (8-6-6, 30 points) are now tied for third in the Eastern Conference standings with Toronto FC (8-8-6) and host the San Jose Earthquakes this Saturday.

RSL, at 7-9-6 with 27 points, is in sixth place in the Western Conference standings and has two games this week -- Wednesday at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, UT against Chivas USA and this Saturday at the Kansas City Wizards.
