Roberto Brown scored his fifth goal of the season in the 51st minute for the Montreal Impact in a 1-0 victory at Saputo Stadium Sunday over the Minnesota Thunder in United Soccer Leagues First Division play.
That's the good news.
The bad news? Brown received his fifth yellow card of the season in the 70th minute and must now miss the Impact's next game Wednesday when they host the Portland Timbers, owners of a 20-game unbeaten streak in USL1 play.
The Impact are 7-8-5 with 26 points and are in sixth place in the standings.
Minnesota is in ninth place at 3-10-6 with 15 points and take on the Miami FC Blues on the road Friday.
