Jeff Hughes assisted Bill Brindley on a goal in the 13th minute of play as the host Pittsburgh Riverhounds shut out Crystal Palace Baltimore, 1-0, in the final weekend of United Soccer Leagues Second Divsion play Saturday at Chartiers Valley High School.
The Riverhounds closed out the 2009 campaign with a 6-10-4 record and 22 points to finish in eighth place.
Crystal Palace finished their season in sixth place with the Western Mass Pioneers as both teams had 6-9-5 records and 23 points.
