United Soccer Leagues Tuesday announced defender Wesley Charles and forward Charles Gbeke of the defending USL First Division champion Vancouver Whitecaps were each being suspended one game in addition to a one-game suspension and fines announced Monday by the team.
Charles and Gbeke were reprimanded for unsportsmanlike behavior during Friday's home game at Swangard Stadium against the Miami FC Blues.
Both players will be eligible to return to the Whitecaps July 9 when they host the Minnesota Thunder.
