It only took two minutes -- the final two minutes -- to force a 1-1 draw Wednesday at The Home Depot Center as the Women's Professional Soccer-leading Los Angeles Sol met the Chicago Red Stars.
In the 88th minute, Ella Masur connected with Cristiane on a score to give the underdog Red Stars the lead but, in the final minute of regulation play, the Sol got an unassisted goal from Camille Abily for the draw, earning each team a point in the standings.
The Sol, who next host the Washington Freedom Saturday, lead WPS at 6-1-3 with 21 points. The Red Stars, 2-3-3 with nine points and in fifth place, are at FC Gold Pride Saturday.
