New Jersey's Marko Ciklic tied the game at 1-1 with a 42nd minute feed to Erik Vendola.
Westchester is 2-8-3 with nine points and in seventh place in the Eastern Conference, Northeast Division and New Jersey is a point behind in eighth at 2-6-2 with eight.
Both teams face the Brooklyn Knights next -- New Jersey first on the road this Wednesday, Westchester hosts them July 11.
