Miguel Bonilla and Teal Burnbury led the host Rochester Thunder with a goal and an assist each as they defeated the Springfield Demize, 4-1, Friday in a United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League game in the Central Conference, Heartland Conference from Rochester Community Technical College.
Bonilla had an unassisted goal in the eighth minute, then helped Gustavo Diaz with a play in the 31st minute. Burnbury scored alone in the 56th minute and assisted on Mark Heath-Preston's 65th minute goal in the victory.
Springfield's lone goal came from Emmanuel Adewole.
Rochester is 5-5-0 with 15 points and is in fourth place in the division while the Demize are in last place at 2-8-1 with seven points.
Both teams face the Des Moines Menace this weekend -- Rochester hosting them Sunday, but Springfield playing at Valley Stadium Saturday.
