They May Have Lost The Game, But Sanchez Is USL1 GOW Winner

Minnesota Thunder midfielder Ricardo Sanchez was named the winner Friday of the United Soccer Leagues First Division's Goal of the Week contest.

Despite being beaten last Friday at PGE Park by the Portland Timbers, 5-1, Sanchez scored his team's lone goal unassisted in the 38th minute.
