Stingrays Sting Rangers At Morris Catholic

Gregory Motta scored an unassisted goal in the 61st minute to lead the visiting Rhode Island Stingrays to a 2-1 road win over the New Jersey Rangers in United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League play Sunday from Morris Catholic High School.

New Jersey led first in the third minute, but the Rangers scored a goal for the competition in the 51st minute on an own goal to tie the game before Motta's play.

Rhode Island is 4-6-2 with 14 points and in sixth place in the Eastern Conference, Northeast Division and are at the New Hampshire Phantoms Wednesday.

New Jersey, 2-7-2 with eight points and in eighth place, are at the Brooklyn Knights Wednesday and host the Ottawa Fury Sunday.
