Stevens Seals Victory For Outrage, Puts Out Fire

Dan Stevens had an unassisted goal in the 26th minute that gave the visiting Kalamazoo Outrage a 2-1 victory over the Chicago Fire in United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League play at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, IL Wednesday.

Jonathan Rzepka put the Outrage in the lead in the eighth minute on an unassisted goal, then Chicago's Mark Halma fired a pass to Pascal Millen to tie the game at 1-1 in the 25th minute.

The Fire, despite the loss, still lead the Central Conference, Great Lakes Division with a 4-1-1 record and 13 points and are at the Cleveland Internationals Saturday.

Kalamazoo is in second place at 3-0-2 with 11 points and host the Fort Wayne Fever Friday.
