The league-leading Los Angeles Sol of Women's Professional Soccer signed forward Julia Schnugg to a developmental contract Friday.
Schnugg, who last played in the amateur Women's Premier Soccer League with the California Storm, split her collegiate playing days between Florida State and the University of California at Berkeley and had a combined 14 goals and 17 assists for 45 points.
She was a two-time All-Atlantic Coast Conference Second Team member and led the Seminoles to two trips to the NCAA Tournament, including a Final Four appearance in 2004.
