Nate Jaqua of the Seattle Sounders, who contributed on all of his team's goals in a 3-0 shutout the Colorado Rapids Sunday at Qwest Field, was named Major League Soccer's Player of the Week for Week 15 of the 2009 season Monday.
Jaqua had two goals and assisted on the third by Fredy Montero to take second place on the team in goals (six) and assists (five) behind Montero in both categories (eight and six, respectively).
It is Jaqua's first POW honor since Week 10 of the 2005 season when he scored his first career hat trick with the Chicago Fire in a 5-2 win over Chivas USA.
