Ed Hayden scored the game's only point on a Justin Evans assist in the 48th minute as the host Pittsburgh Riverhounds shut out the Bermuda Hogges, 1-0, Thursday at Chartiers Valley High School in the lone United Soccer Leagues Second Division game on the schedule.
Pittsburgh is tied with the Charlotte Eagles, both at 3-3-2 with 11 points, for sixth place in the standings.
Bermuda is 3-6-1 and tied with the Western Mass Pioneers (3-5-1) for last place.
The Hogges are at the Harrisburg City Islanders Saturday and the Riverhounds play at home again Sunday against the Richmond Kickers.
