Rhinos Roll Over Thunder In Blaine

Andrew Gregor took a pass from Chris Nurse in the 32nd minute and Mike Ambersley was assisted by Kwame Sarkodie in the 82nd minute as the Rochester Rhinos rolled over the Minnesota Thunder, 2-1, in United Soccer Leagues First Division play Saturday at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN.

Brian Cvilikas scored Minnesota's only goal in the 89th minute.

The Rhinos are 6-5-2 with 20 points and are in fifth place in the league standings. After facing the defending Major League Soccer champion Columbus Crew Tuesday in the third round of the 2009 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup tournament, Rochester will welcome the Austin Aztex to Marina Auto Stadium July 5.

The Thunder host MLS' Kansas City Wizards in LHUSOC play Tuesday, then hosts the Portland Timbers July 4.
