Christine Sinclair scored off an Eriko Arakawa assist in the 14th minute, but Cristiane countered with an unassisted play as the FC Gold Pride and the Chicago Red Stars saw their respective players tally goals in a 1-1 tie Sunday in Women's Professional Soccer play at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.
The Pride are at 3-5-2 with 11 points and in a three-way tie for third place in the standings with the Boston Breakers and the St. Louis Athletica. Off this weekend, they next face Boston on the road June 17.
Chicago is 2-3-4 with 10 points, are in sixth place and travel to the Washington Freedom this Saturday.
