Angela Salem had two goals and an assist and Shaneka Gordon had a goal and a pair of assists as the Hampton Roads Pirahnas struck the host Richmond Kickers Destiny with a 5-0 shutout in United Soccer Leagues W-League play at University of Richmond Stadium.
The Pirahnas are 3-2-0 with nine points and are in second place in the league's Eastern Conference, Atlantic Division and host the Atlanta Silverbacks this Friday.
The Destiny are 0-3-1 with a point and are in sixth place with three games in the next week -- at the Northern Virginia Majestics Sunday, at the Charlotte Lady Eagles this Friday and hosting the Silverabcks next Sunday.
