Eugene Brooks connected with Jose Munoz on the game's first goal for West Texas in the seventh minute and Raul Franco (59') and Giber Becarra (72') had unassisted goals.
El Paso leads the Southern Conference, Mid-South Division at 7-4-1 with 22 points, one ahead f the Austin Aztex U23s (6-1-3).
West Texas is 4-3-3 with 15 points and is in fifth place.
West Texas hosts the Houston Leones July 3, then have a July 4 rematch with the Patriots in Midland.
