Despite the fact the game's location had to be moved at the last minute, the host Toronto Lynx played expansion franchise Forest City London to a 1-1 draw Wednesday in a United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League School Day game.
The game was moved from Centennial Stadium to the Ontario Soccer Centre because a new artificial surface was not completed on schedule for the Lynx to open their home season.
London scored their goal in the 46th minute off Kevin Zimmerman while Adrian Butters knotted the score with his unassisted goal in the 57th minute.
London is currently in fourth place in the Central Conference, Great Lakes Division with a 2-0-1 record and seven points.
Toronto, meanwhile, is in last place at 0-2-1 with a point.
Both teams will host the Cincinnati Kings this weekend -- London Friday, Toronto Saturday.
