Chelsea Cline, Kelsey hand and Caroline Smith scored goals as the host Minnesota Lightning shut out the Cleveland Internationals, 3-0, in United Soccer Leagues W-League play at the National Sports Center Saturday in Blaine, MN.
The Lightning are 3-2-1 with 10 points and are in third place in the Central Conference, Midwest Division. They will host the Chicago Red Eleven Wednesday and the Kalamazoo Outrage Friday.
Cleveland is 2-4-0 with six points and is in fifth place. They host the Fort Wayne Fever Wednesday and the FC Indiana Lionesses Friday.
