Brent Whitfield had a hat trick and an assist and Kraig Chiles and Michael Farfan each added a goal and an assist as the home Los Angeles Legends shut out the Ogden Outlaws, 5-0, Friday in United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League play at Bishop Mora High School.
The Legends are 6-2-2 with 20 points and in second place in the Western Conference, Southwest Division standings, three points behind the Hollywood United Hitmen.
Ogden (1-5-1, four points) is tied for last place with the Lancaster Rattlers (1-6-1).
Los Angeles will be at the Orange County Blue Star this Wednesday and the Outlaws will head to the Ventura County Fusion Saturday.
