Leigh Cummings had a hat trick as the host Long Island Rough Riders roughed up the host Western Mass Lady Pioneers for a 6-0 United Soccer Leagues W-League victory Saturday at St. Anthony's High School.
Casie Ludemann had a pair of goals and an assist and Brooke DeRosa added a goal and an assist.
The Rough Riders are 3-2-1 with 10 points and are in second place in the Eastern Conference's Northeast Division. They will meet the Boston Renegades on the road next Sunday.
Western Mass is still winless at 0-6-0 and have minus three points in the standings due to being penalized for using a invalid player earlier this season. They will be at the New Jersey Wildcats this Friday.
