The nominees for the second week of Major League Soccer's new Save of the Week award were announced Tuesday and last week's inaugural winner, Kasey Kellar of the Seattle Sounders, is in the running again.
The weekly award, which fans can cast votes for at www.mlsnet.com through 2 p.m. Eastern time Thursday, was started last week to honor goalkeepers who make outstanding saves during a game and will culminate with one player earning the Save of the Year trophy at the end of the season.
Besides Kellar, the other nominees are Matt Pickens (Colorado Rapids), Stefan Frei (Toronto FC), Matt Reis (New England Revolution), Kevin Hartman (Kansas City Wizards) and Joe Cannon (San Jose Earthquakes).
