Cristian Arrieta scored two penalty kick goals in the 36th and 70th minutes and Jonathan Steele and Nicholas Addlery added goals as the host Puerto Rico Islanders defeated the Austin Aztex, 4-1, Friday in United Soccer Leagues First Division play at Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium in Bayamon, PR.
Jean Alexandre scored Austin's lone unassisted goal in the final minute of the first half.
The Islanders (5-3-4) have 19 points and are tied for third in the standings with the Portland Timbers (5-1-4).
Austin is in fourth place at 2-4-4 with 10 points.
Puerto Rico hosts the Charleston Battery next Thursday in Bayamon and the Aztex hit the road to face the Miami FC Blues this Sunday.
