Himeno Leads Charge Of Rough Riders Over Rangers

Adam Himeno had an unassisted 33rd minute goal and assisted on Chris Cox's 89th minute score and Mike Palacio put a shot in the back of the net in the 65th minute as the Long Island Rough Riders roughed up the host New Jersey Rangers, 3-0, Sunday in United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League play at Morris Catholic High School.

The Rough Riders are 9-1-0 with 27 points and lead the Eastern Conference, Northeast Division. They next host the Ottawa Fury Saturday.

The Rangers are 1-5-2 with five points and are tied for last place in the division standings with the New Hampshire Phantoms (1-6-2). They will host the expansion Quebec City Amiral Wednesday and the Westchester Flames Saturday.
